In its original form, it is part of a healing treatment.
Hawaiian healers, known as ‘kahunas’, used it to treat the body and soul.
According to traditional beliefs, Lomi Lomi Nui is said to
facilitate the transition into a new phase of life, which is why
it is often used before weddings and similar events.
The effects of a single Lomi Lomi Nui massage can often
still be felt several days later, both in the body and in mental
and spiritual harmony and vitality.
